Welcome to the first edition of Madhu Hunters Expedition 2019
Madhu Hunters Expedition is an immersive travel and journalistic experience for videographers, journalists and photographers to document the nomadic lifestyle of honey hunters in the Himalayas and discover the reality of Nepal.
In this 2019 edition of Madhu Hunters Expedition, not only are we going to experience the traditional ritual of mad honey hunting but also we are going to learn from other topics that concern the news agenda of Nepal, such as refugee Tibetan monks, “the Living Goddess” Kumari, restrictions of freedom of expression and right of information in the country, Gurung culture, reconstruction after the earthquake of 2015 and tourism promotion of Nepal 2020.
We are looking for ten interested professionals to document this travel adventure in many different formats (video, photography and writing).
